MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Teresa Berry Williams, BA, MAADOM
The current office manager for Williams Dental & Orthodontics, Teresa Berry Williams, has been leading the business management for the last 4 years. Teresa graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR with a degree in Business Administration & Commercial Art. Shortly after graduation, she and her late husband owned and managed Western Sizzlin Steak House for 13 years in Pittsburg, Kansas. In 1999, they purchased and successfully managed the DirectBuy franchise in Tulsa, OK, until Teresa sold the business in 2012. During that time, Teresa won many 5 Star Service and Sales awards from DirectBuy, Inc., and in 2003, The Journal Record named Teresa, Woman of the Year “50 Making a Difference” in Oklahoma. Teresa earned her fellowship in AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Managers) in 2018, her mastership in AADOM in 2021, and continues to study and grow in the dental profession in order to stay current in the ever-changing dental business environment.
McKenzie Berry, BA, FAADOM
The Co-Office manager for Williams Dental & Orthodontics is McKenzie Berry. She has been serving the practice for the last 4 years. McKenzie graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Business Management & Business Marketing. While there she co-founded the campus organization, “OBU Women in Business”. After graduating she joined the practice and has been instrumental in facilitating changes to the practice that successfully transformed our cohesive team and profitable dental practice. McKenzie earned the Dentrix mastery tracks certification: front office, financial, clinical & practice analysis and earned her fellowship in AADOM in 2018. McKenzie constantly strives to improve her practice management skills and knowledge in the dental field.
Teresa and Dr. Brad married in 2012. Recognizing Teresa & McKenzie’s business expertise, Dr. Brad encouraged both to take the responsibility of managing his practice as a business. Their degrees in business & marketing along with their experience in the business world brought BIG financial changes to Dr. Williams’ practice. Seeing the magnitude of increased profits and the overall improvement in the Skiatook practice, Dr. Brad persuaded them to create a one-day training management seminar for his students and their staff. This course reflects the practice model used to transform and currently manage orthodontics in our busy rural general practice.
