Get real-world, hands-on practice with Dr. Williams’ orthodontics program.

As a dentist, you know the importance of staying ahead of the game when it comes to training and education. That’s why Dr. Williams’ hands on orthodontic courses are always such popular choices. With a focus on quality and results, his orthodontic training programs are consistently some of the most sought after courses by general and pediatric dentists wanting to add orthodontics to their service offerings. For dentists around the world, Dr. Williams’ courses have provided an invaluable opportunity for hands-on learning and real-world practice.

This is why when you sign up for Dr. Williams’ Premier Comprehensive Orthodontics Clinical Program, you experience a course like no other. This program is a dynamic, hands-on student favorite. Today, we’re sharing 5 reasons why.

1. Our instructor is an industry expert.

What distinguishes the best orthodontic courses for general dentists from others? The instructor! When you participate in our program, you’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from a much-loved and respected instructor, Dr. Brad Williams.

Dr. Williams has more than 30 years of experience in the field of orthodontics. He has practiced general dentistry since 1982 and general practice orthodontics since 1983. He has also been a member of the American Orthodontic Society (AOS) since 1983.

As you take one of his courses, you’ll immediately notice that he has a unique and compelling teaching style. Dr. Williams teaches even the most advanced topics in ways that are accessible and easy to understand. He approaches each concept simply, clearly, engagingly, and comprehensively.

In addition, he’s dedicated to helping every student master the art of orthodontics and reach their full potential. He’s always available to answer any questions or concerns you might have, and you can connect via phone, text, or email.

2. Receive take-home materials.

As your dental training wraps up, you don’t have to worry about forgetting anything that you’ve learned. In addition to all the notes you’ve taken during the course, you will go home with a comprehensive, 400-page manual that covers it all.

Within this manual, you’ll find detailed sections that cover the latest concepts in straight wire orthodontics. It’s sure to become one of your most valuable and often-visited resources as you add orthodontics to your general or pediatric dental practice.

3. Enjoy a well-balanced curriculum.

Our Premier Comprehensive Orthodontics Clinical Program is designed as a six-session course. Each session lasts three full days and includes the following:

  • One and a half days of hands-on benchtop exercises
  • Videos
  • Lecture
  • Half a day devoted to reviewing current and new cases

During that half day, we’ll review any current cases that are causing you difficulty. We’ll also go over any new orthodontic cases you’re considering for treatment and review the patients you will treat in the clinic the next day.

On the third day, you will have the opportunity to treat orthodontic patients directly in the clinic. Along with several Oklahoma-licensed, orthodontically experienced dentists and assistants, Dr. Williams will provide expert supervision and support throughout the day.

Put together, these three days provide an ideal mix of different types of instructional course materials, including:

  • Lecture
  • Personal study
  • Hands-on practice with manipulatives
  • Case study reviews

Do you have your own case studies you’d like to bring for discussion? We encourage you to bring them! Students are allowed to bring their own case studies to the course, where they’ll be included in our topics for classroom analysis.

4. Work with real patients.

While classroom coursework is important and beneficial, there are some concepts that are simply easier to grasp with hands-on work. We understand this at Williams GP Orthodontic Seminars, and that’s why we designed our Premier Comprehensive Orthodontics Clinical Program to be as interactive as possible.

On every training weekend, you’ll get to experience a day in the clinic. This gives you the opportunity to work directly alongside Dr. Williams and learn how to treat real orthodontic patients.

As you begin to apply your new skills in a real-world setting, you’ll get a glimpse of what it will feel like to provide those same services in your own dental practice.

5. The course is designed for full immersion.

This six-session training course isn’t designed to be rushed through. In fact, it will take one year to complete. Yet there’s a reason it requires a great commitment of time and devotion: It’s more comprehensive and exhaustive.

By the end of the course, you will have been fully immersed in all aspects of basic (Class I and Class II) orthodontics. After just the first session, you’ll be equipped to go back and start implementing what you’ve learned in your own practice! That way by the time the course ends, you will have treated a number of your own patients already.

You’ll come to that last session more ready than ever to apply your new skills and grow your dental practice through the addition of orthodontics!
